Moisture analysers are measuring devices especially designed for determining the moisture content of relatively small samples of different materials.

The sample materials are first weighed and afterwards, are processed in a drying process. The exact moisture of the sample can be retrieved from the difference of the initial weight and the weight of the sample after the drying process.
